Video Production Management

During my time at the Texas Comptroller’s office, I spearheaded video production initiatives to elevate the agency’s digital projects and increase audience engagement. I conducted interviews with prominent figures, such as entrepreneur and astronaut Richard Garriott and Project Runway winner Chloe Dao, bringing fresh and compelling perspectives to the agency’s content. My responsibilities also included filming agency meetings, seminars, and press events, as well as capturing dynamic B-roll footage at high-profile events like South by Southwest.

Key Contributions

• Led end-to-end video production, overseeing scripting, directing, filming, and editing to create polished content for internal and public-facing use.
• Completed specialized training in crew management, lighting, audio production, and scriptwriting for live and studio settings.
• Designed and implemented a video production workflow, establishing efficient processes and training procedures for the department.
• Researched, sourced, and acquired a comprehensive video production kit, including HD cameras, lighting rigs, audio gear, and essential accessories, to support high-quality content creation.
