Fusion Marketing

Client: Valvoline

Sticker Bucks is a rewards-based mobile application developed for Valvoline’s B2B customers, allowing users to redeem points for services such as oil changes and other automotive care products offered at Valvoline service centers. The app enables users to submit proof of purchase, accumulate points, and manage their rewards.

Mid-project, our team experienced a significant transition when Fusion Marketing spun off from 160over90 under the agency’s former owner. This added complexity to the development process, but I took over the project management role to ensure progress continued and the app was completed despite the organizational shift.

Key Contributions

  • Project Management: Led internal and external teams, ensuring collaboration across departments while successfully navigating the challenges of the agency spin-off.
  • Daily Standups and Backlog Management: Facilitated daily standup meetings and managed the Jira backlog, prioritizing tasks, requests, and bug fixes, and integrating them into the development cycle.
  • Development Coordination: Oversaw the coordination between front-end, back-end, database, and mobile development teams, ensuring alignment with Valvoline’s technical and business requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization: Streamlined the daily workflow to integrate bug fixes and requests into the build cycle, focusing on reducing delays and pushing the project forward despite existing setbacks.
