Hosted in its second year by Russell Simmons and Rev. Run, VH1’s Hip Hop Honors celebrated legendary artists like Big Daddy Kane, Boyz n the Hood, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Ice-T, LL Cool J, The Notorious B.I.G., and Salt-N-Pepa. The site featured interactive artist bios and custom event artwork by Kehinde Wiley.

Key Contributions

• Oversaw the design and development process, coordinating efforts to create a polished, interactive site experience that highlighted the honorees and engaged VH1’s audience.
• Maintained the project schedule and weekly status dashboard to ensure timely progress across design and technical teams.
• Acted as the primary liaison between content, design, development, mobile, and tech teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Collaborated closely with Viacom’s Project Management Office to address any issues and support smooth project execution.
• Assisted the production and creative direction teams with last-minute content creation and input to meet critical deadlines.
